Hi, I’m Vanessa — the owner of Prevail Pictures.

With over 16 years of experience in the creative industry, my journey began in photography and evolved into filmmaking, editing, and visual storytelling. What started as a passion became a career dedicated to creating meaningful and cinematic work.

I later moved to Chicago to study Film & Television with a concentration in Cinematography, where I gained experience working on short films, television productions, commercials, and church media. Those experiences helped shape both my creative style and storytelling approach.

After seven years, I returned to Miami and continued serving in church media while growing Prevail Pictures.

For me, this work goes beyond simply capturing photos or videos — it’s about preserving genuine moments, emotion, and stories that people can revisit and truly connect with for years to come.
